Bolivian congressman Henry Cabrera on Friday November 22nd said the Senate on the same day would expectedly pass a bill to allow new elections, and the parliament would pass it on the next day, Reuters reported.

"We're definitely going to pass it," Vice President of the house of deputies Cabrera said, following an agreement between top lawmakers of the parliament.

Evo Morales, the former president of Bolivia, resigned earlier in November amid an immense and severe violent uprising that reached a breaking point when the military pulled its support, a move that Morales has referred to as a "coup".

The fall of Morales came only hours after the Organization of American States said it had found "clear manipulation" of the vote last month in which the former president claimed victory.
