The Emirati Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Anwar Gargash, tweeted on Tuesday, January 14th, on his successful visit to Sudan where he met with the members of the ruling sovereign council and the prime minister Abdallah Hamdook.
“A successful visit to Sudan where I was honored to meet the head of the sovereign council, his deputy, and the prime minister. I felt a deep appreciation for the UAE and its support amid the current era with all of its challenges,” tweeted Gargash.
“Our relation with Sudan is historic, deeply rooted, and steadily renewed as part of our common pursuance of modern and diverse partnership,” added Gargash in another tweet.
Garghash pointed out that the Sudanese community in the UAE exceeds 100 thousand people who contribute to the renaissance of the country, adding that the appreciation he felt during his visit to Sudan for the UAE and its leadership reflects these common efforts.
