Three people in Greece have died of an unusual frostbite in the country, an official source said on Sunday.
The three, two men and a woman, were in a car washed away by floods near Athens.
The woman was found dead Saturday by the frost in the car and the bodies of the two men on Sunday after being swept away by water, according to firefighters.
Greece faces a long-term frostbite with a low heat that in some places has reached minus 18 degrees Celsius, with snow falling in many areas.
Rescuers have received many requests for help from people who have been stranded in their cars or homes because of heavy snowfall.
