Customers of G Suite (Google Docs Business) will this week be able to see how many words they have written while typing in Google Docs in real-time, The Verge reported on Tuesday, September 10th.
“We’ve heard that displaying this information is helpful to users working on docs that require minimum or maximum word count,” writes Google.
The feature is expected to roll out early in October for G Suite clients. There is no word yet on when regular users will get the option, so for now they have to go to tools > word count or press CTR Shift C.
Google docs is a word processor from Google that enables users to access their documents from any internet-connected PC, Mac, tablet, or smartphone and collaborate on it in real-time with other users from anywhere in the world as long as they have access to the internet.
