The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi has arrived in Germany, kicking off a two-day state visit to the European nation.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, arrived in Germany on Tuesday, June 11th, where he is set to meet with Germany’s President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
The state visit aims to enhance the friendship and cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
Prior to his trip to Germany, Sheikh Nahyan welcomed German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas on June 9th.
The two leaders exchanged views on current developments, as well as regional developments and their implications pertaining to security and stability. The pair also discussed a number of additional issues and matters of mutual interest.
