Kyrgyz President Praises UAE as among World's Best Countries for Civilisation, Growth

Kyrgyzstan’s President Sooronbay Jeenbekov asserted on Thursday, December 12th that the UAE is one of the best countries in the world for civilisation and accelerated growth at all levels, praising the great development witnessed by the wise leadership of the UAE government in making this country one of the most important countries in the world in the path of growth and progress.

He also affirmed his country's ambition and great endeavour to develop bilateral relations with the UAE in a manner that enhances the interests of both sides, especially in the economic field, noting that his country is ready to harness all the capabilities necessary to enhance the areas of joint commercial and investment cooperation between the business communities of both sides.

According to the official Emirates News Agency (WAM), President Jeenbekov said that his country has undertaken many government reforms on the economic level, which has contributed to its commercial and investment openness, calling on the Emirati business community to visit the Kyrgyz Republic and learn about the best investment opportunities available in many vital and promising sectors that benefit the interests of both parties.

He added that the Emirati economy has become a role model for the world.

This came in his speech during the business meeting organised by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Thursday at the Emirates Palace.

“UAE is a beautiful country where a large percentage of Kyrgyz citizens live and enjoy security, safety, and happiness, which confirms our great interest in promoting and strengthening areas of economic cooperation with the Emirates,” Jeenbekov said.

Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held official talks with the Kyrgyz president, who paid an official visit to the UAE at the head of a high-level delegation.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed started the talks that took place at Al-Watan Palace in Abu Dhabi by welcoming the president of Kyrgyzstan and the accompanying delegation, also touching upon topics of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
