Manchester City will lose the services of their first choice goalkeeper, Ederson, when they face Liverpool in the 12th week of the English Premier League on Sunday November 10th, due to a muscular problem.
The Brazilian international goalie left the pitch at half-time during Wednesday November 6th’s 1-1 UEFA Champions League draw, at Atalanta, after suffering from the injury.
Man City boss, Pep Guardiola. announced Friday November 8th, that the team’s goalkeeper is not able to play the game against Liverpool, due to the injury.
Goalkeeper Claudio Bravo is expected to replace the injured Ederson, when they visit Liverpool on Sunday November 10th at Anfield.
"We have another top keeper," Guardiola said.
"You have to respect this guy. He is 34-years-old and has spent his whole career at the top level.”
Liverpool are currently at the top of the table, with 31 points, six points ahead of Premier League title holders Man City.
