Montana police officers blasted AC/DC's “Hells Bells” to get a stubborn bison to clear the way, Loudwire reported Wednesday, September 11th.
The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office said on Facebook, along with a photo of the bison, "When deputies respond to a bison on the road, they turn on lights and siren and encourage the animal to leave the road with an air horn. With a reluctant bison, they've been known to play AC/DC's Hell's Bells over the speakers, that usually seems to work."
Similarly, in July, a woman from Vancouver discovered that Metallica's music was useful to deter cougars while she was walking her dog.
Rock songs scare away animals because they combine the primal sound of drums and the unnatural sound of distorted guitars.
