Paris Saint-Germain’s Brazilian forward Neymar left the pitch of his national team’s friendly game against Nigeria with hamstring problems only 12 minutes from the start on Sunday, October 13th.

Sunday’s draw with Nigeria was the fourth game for Brazil without a win, as they were held to 2-2 draw by Colombia on September 7th, four days before losing to Peru 1-0, all in friendlies. They then drew with Senegal and Nigeria, both 1-1, this week.
Nigeria’s national football team caused problems for Brazil, but goalkeeper Ederson was at full stretch to keep out the African side’s efforts.
The Super Eagles snatched the lead in the 35th minute when Moses Simon slipped the ball to Joe Aribo, who scored the game’s opener.
Brazil levelled the score three minutes after the break when Marquinhos' header came back off the bar, but Casemiro was on hand to stab the ball across the line.
