The King of Saudi Arabia, Salman bin Abdulaziz, issued on Wednesday October 23rd several Royal decrees that target a minor cabinet reshuffle, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Ibrahim Al-Assaf was replaced by Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, while Assaf was appointed as minister of the state and a member of the cabinet.
Nabil bin Mohammed Al Amoudi was relieved of his post as the minister of transport to be replaced by Saleh bin Nasser.
The Royal decree also appointed Abdullah bin Sharaf Al Ghamdi as the chairman of the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence at the rank of a minister, while the vice president of the Saudi Authority post went to Saleh bin Mohammed Al Othaim.
The Saudi King appointed Tareq bun Abdullah Al Enazi as Chairman of the National Data Management office and Essam bin Abdullah Al Weqait as the Director of the same institution.
