His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, arrived today 6th Jan in Islamabad in an official visit to Pakistan, according to AP.
A Pakistani minister says his government’s talks with the United Arab Emirates on setting up an oil refinery in Pakistan “reached their final stage” during the visit of the crown prince of Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Mohamed was received by the Pakistani Prime Minister and accorded an official reception ceremony before he held talks with Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations between the UAE and Pakistan, and discussed the latest developments in the region.
During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed affirmed his keenness to enhance cooperation with Pakistan to the best interest of the two countries.
Sheikh Mohamed also shared a post on his official twitter handle highlighting his official visit to Pakistan, where he was accorded a red-carpet reception.
Sheikh Mohamed returned to the UAE following a brief official visit to Pakistan.
