More than 7,500 athletes will compete in the Special Olympics from 14 to 21 March 2019 in Abu Dhabi.
Athletes from all parts of the world will participate in this world sports competition reserved for athletes armed with unique and special abilities. They will face 7,500 athletes from 176 nations. Of the 24 disciplines in competition. The main categories will include basketball, bowling, tennis, football, artistic gymnastics, handball, judo, swimming and table tennis
The Games are officially open on March 14 at Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi and this promises to be a great show. During the Opening Ceremony, the Flame of Hope that first crossed all the United Arab Emirates during the Torch Run, will be lit and burned for the duration of the Games.
