Three people have been killed and 10 wounded in terrorist attack, one of them a suicide bomber, at the Libyan Foreign Ministry headquarters on Tuesday morning in Tripoli, a security source and the Libyan health ministry said.
The Libyan health ministry said the attack killed at least three people and wounded 10 others.
In a statement, the Libyan foreign ministry spoke of a "suicide attack" carried out by "terrorist members", praised by the security services, which "dealt with the attack in high professionalism, reducing the number of casualties and contributed to control the attackers in record time."
Security sources said one of the three dead was a diplomat at the Foreign Ministry.
Tariq al-Dawaas, a spokesman for the Interior Ministry's special forces, accused Isis of carrying out the attack. He said that "the treacherous bombing was by rogue groups of killers."
