The UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Anwar Gargash, has told reporters that caution and moderation are the paths they will follow to navigate the choppy waters of international politics in the region.
Anwar Gargash told journalists in Dubai, on Wednesday, May 15th, that the UAE "will act as a member of the international community and will remain cautious and moderate… We are concerned about Iran’s policy in the region, and are anticipating the results of our partners’ investigations into the three sabotaged ships”.
“We support the UN’s efforts on Yemen in spite of the Houthis manners and are deeply concerned about their attacks on Saudi Arabia. We sent a letter to the UN Security Council on the three sabotaged oil ships,” Gargash said.
Speaking of the situation in the Sudan, Gargash said, “The Sudan needs a lot of financial and non-financial support to be stable, and we wish to help in this regard.”
