The 24th World Energy Congress (WEC) launched in Abu Dhabi on September 9th with the participation of ministers, CEOs, policy-makers and industry moguls from 150 countries. They will engage in discussions and meetings on the future of the energy industry and ways of breaking new ground in it, WAM reported.
The "Energy for Prosperity" themed conference will feature a four-day interactive programme that explores the most pressing challenges the energy industry has to overcome and goes into potential solutions.
At the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, from September 9th to 12th, the WEC will include 80 panel discussions that will cover all types of energy, including oil and gas, electricity, development of clean coal, nuclear power and renewable energy, and the different parts of the industry from transportation to efficiency, finance, investment, and consultancy.
The World Energy Congress is held under the auspices of President of the UAE, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
