Despite energy resources, more than 650 million people in Africa remain without access to energy. At the World Energy Congress, policy makers and experts, among them Dr Elham Ibrahim, Vice Chair for Africa at the World Energy Council and Abubakar Sani Sambo, Special Adviser to the Nigerian President, discuss how Africa’s energy transition can be facilitated and enhanced and shed light on measures such as energy integration, market design and the adequate use of renewable energy.
