Hilary Duff celebrated her son Luca’s 12th birthday with a heartwarming tribute on Wednesday.
The actress took to Instagram to share a delightful video collage capturing various moments of Luca’s life filled with joy and adventure.
Accompanied by Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em,” the montage showcases Luca’s playful antics, his laughter-filled skating sessions, concert enjoyment, sibling bonding with his little sister, and more.
“Another incredible year with Luca!!!!” Duff wrote in the caption. “Happy 12th ✨ my shining light!!!! 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘.”
Luca is Duff’s son with her former husband Mike Comrie, while she also has two daughters, Banks Violet Bair and Mae James Bair, with her current husband Matthew Koma. Additionally, Duff revealed her pregnancy with her fourth child in December.
In an interview with Shape’s Innovation Issue last year, Duff candidly expressed the challenges and joys of motherhood, describing it as both “tough” and “infinitely fulfilling.”
“I adore witnessing my children blossom into their unique selves,” she shared. “I revel in the chaos and love of our bustling household. I cherish navigating parenthood with my husband. I find solace in the belief that hugs and cuddles can remedy any situation. And I embrace the daily challenge of wondering, ‘How on earth will we get through today?’ only to triumphantly tuck everyone in, feed them, and see them content after a day filled with countless tasks.”
