The Arab Ministerial Quartet Committee on Monitoring the Crisis with Iran condemned Tehran’s support for the ballistic missile attacks against Saudi populated cities, reported the Saudi Agency.
The Arab Ministerial Quartet condemned the Houthi militias drone attacks against two Saudi fuel pump stations, and the acts of vandalism committed against vessels on Oman sea and territorial waters off Emirati coasts.
The Quartet’s statement mentioned the Secretary General of Hezbollah’s latest speech and described it by “hostile” to countries such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab of Emirates, Bahrain, and Yemen.
The statement said that Hezbollah is a major source of tensions in the region and it is mandatory to face it and the parties supporting it.
“We condemn the Iranian threats against international navigation in the Straits of Hormuz, Tehran’s support for terrorist Houthi militias’ ballistic missiles program, and the Turkish and Iranian interference in Syria,” read the Quartet’s statement.
The Arab Quartet expressed solidarity with the Moroccan decision to cut diplomatic ties with Iran due to the latter’s interference in the affairs of the region’s states.
The statement condemned Iranian meddling in Bahrain's affairs.
The "Arab Ministerial Quartet Committee" monitoring the crisis with Iran held a meeting in the Egyptian capital of Cairo on Tuesday, September 10th.hold a ministerial meeting in Cairo on September 10.
The meeting was chaired by the UAE and attended by Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the Arab League, before the 152nd session of the Arab League Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs.
