Ethiopia’s Transport Ministry has said it is analysing the data retrieved from the Flight Data Recorder (FDR) and the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) of Ethiopia’s Boeing 737 Max 8 that crashed on March 10th, a few minutes after takeoff from Addis Ababa, killing 157 people on board.

The Ministry on March 21st said in a statement that the US National Transport Safety Board (NTSB), the France Security Board (BEA), and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) were involved in the analysis of the data recorders.

All the data saved by Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) and Flight Data Recorder (FDR) was successfully downloaded in France on March 14th.
