Beyoncé surprised the world once again in the early hours of Wednesday April 17th. Without warning she released an album bearing the name "Homecoming". The album will be accompanied by a documentary on Netflix with the same title about her performance in Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival last year.
“Homecoming” was released across all major broadcast platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify, and Google Play.
Beyoncé is the first black woman to lead the festival. The show included more than two hours of performance at the Coachella, and 40 tracks, accompanied by dozens of dancers.
The show praised the American black musical heritage.
Beyoncé used to surprise the public with albums without prior announcement, such as "Beyoncé" in 2013 albums, "Lemonade" and "Everything is Love".
