Russian Foreign Affairs Minister Sergei Lavrov travelled to India on January 14th to participate in the fifth Raisina Dialogue conference which focuses on international challenges.
Lavrov’s visit is part of a wider tour of the region, he is scheduled to conduct six bilateral meetings with different officials, among them his Indian counterpart Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
The minister will deliver a speech at the ministerial session of the Dialogue on Wednesday. The Russian FM is among 13 foreign affairs ministers participating in the conference, which is hosted by the Observer Research Foundation in cooperation with the Indian Ministry of External Affairs.
Business Standard reported, this conference is an annual gathering in New Delhi where the world’s leaders in policy, business, media, and civil society meet to discuss cooperation on a wide range of pertinent international policy matters.
