The Supreme Court on Friday December 6th refused to lift a stay on federal executions, as US Attorney General William Barr had scheduled four executions in December and January, Reuters reported.

The ruling suspends President Donald Trump administration's plans to proceed with first federal executions since 2003. F

While the 7th US Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago also on Friday lifted a stay of execution for death row inmate Daniel Lewis Lee, who was scheduled to be executed on Monday December 9th by a lethal dose, the execution will be adjourned after the Supreme Court's ruling.
